A special outdoor extravaganza is heading to Castle Douglas this year! Showcasing new work presented by leading national and emerging local circus artists, come and enjoy an incredible selection of acts.

Elements is a special edition of Cirqulation, that is coming to Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival! This outdoor show contains a hand-picked selection of acts, some of Cirqulation’s old favourites, involving some local performers. Expect fire, jaw-dropping aerial acts, acrobats, and jugglers, designed to engage all audiences.

Whatever your age, skill, or ability: circus is for you! There will also be a drop-in circus workshop to learn a new skill, have a laugh, challenge yourself, achieve something new, and leave with a smile on your face.

Delighters’ circus workshops cover multiple circus skills including juggling, poi spinning, balancing, hula hoops, flower sticks, and plate spinning. Circus is a great way to socialise and encourage yourself to keep trying despite failure because there is always the capacity to improve and learn.

You don’t need to have any prior experience to come along, but if you are shy bring a friend!
