The Crannog Campus is located on the edge of the bustling market town of Castle Douglas; it occupies a stunning location on the banks of Carlingwark Loch and is enveloped by the surrounding park land.

It is has the perfect situation to be used by the Community as a base for everything from water sports, to cycling events and from special interest groups to workshops.

About The Crannog Campus

The Crannog is an exciting new community-led activity centre being developed on the site of the former Carlingwark Outdoor Centre in Lochside Park.

Named after the ancient man-made island dwellings once found on Carlingwark Loch, the Crannog reflects the area’s rich natural and cultural heritage and its deep connection to place.
